New Canon RAW files compatibility problems

The new Canon RAW file format (CRW2) is not compatible with Photoshop CS2 or ACDSee 8 Pro.

I downloaded a 'fix' for PS CS2 but haven't looked for one for ACDSee 8 yet.

Are CRW2 files compatible with the new Photoshop CS4?

Is there a fix for ACDSee 8?

Thank

From the Adobe Support pages:

New releases of the Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in are generally only compatible with the current versions of Adobe products. If you use an earlier version of an Adobe product, and you use a camera that requires a later version of the Photoshop Camera Raw plug-in, you can use the latest version of the free Adobe DNG Converter to convert your camera raw files to DNG (Digital Negative) files. DNG files can be opened in an Adobe product that supports the Photoshop Camera Raw 2.3 plug-in or later.

The cameras supported by the CS4 RAW plugin (V5) are listed in: www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/cameraraw.html

The cameras supported by ACDSee 8 are listed in: tinyurl.com/67uvmb (includes DNG)
